About PDO Thread Lifts
A PDO Thread Lift is a treatment uses a special medical grade dissolvable suture to tighten and lift your skin. It is thinner than hair, made of protein and safe.
PDO threads have been proven to relax tendons and muscles, whilst insertion of threads (performed by our Medical team in under 45 minutes without downtime) improves the blood flow to the area. PDO threads in your skin triggers cells in your body called fibroblasts to produce more Collagen – the protein that gives your skin its structure and elasticity. Loss of collagen is one of the main causes of aging skin.
PDO threads also stimulate elastin and hyaluronic acid, both substances are key to maintaining firm, youthful looking skin.
How PDO Thread Lift is Performed
Our Medical team will numb the area to be treated and insert PDO threads in the areas to be treated with a cannula. These threads will then be gently tightened to achieve the desired results. The thread material is made from PDO (polydioxanone), which is the same material used in surgery to close wounds.
PDO threads dissolve over time whilst stimulating collagen and elastin production in the area to accentuate rejuvenation.

Before And Aftercare
